IGovs exists to provide free independent support to school governors and trustees, regardless of whether they are in Trusts or maintained schools. Collectively, our consultants have many decades of governance experience and we will match your needs to a suitable expert.

SUPPORT

Support may be provided to the Chair, Vice Chair, individual governors, committee or whole governing body / Board.

MENTORING

This has more of a focus on development of the individual. Whilst suitable for new Chairs, many established Chairs have benefited from this offering.

COACHING

This has more of a focus on improving the performance of the individual in their role. Most often delivered to new-in-post Chairs of Governors.

GovS members are all Chairs or Vice Chairs in both the maintained and academy sectors with a vast range of skills, knowledge, and experience, meaning we have supported 1000’s of Governors, Trustees, Chairs, Vice Chairs, Heads, CEO, Governance professionals and Clerks over many years in a range of ways. We are based across the country so working virtually means that we can support anyone involved in school governance wherever they are based.
